FIELD: chemical, textile, food, light and other industries, particularly separating dispersed particles from gases, air or vapors by liquid as separating agent.
SUBSTANCE: dust chamber comprises body, dust-laden gas flow input, fan, outlet pipe to discharge clean gas, water spraying means alternating with partitions of partition set, liquid trap and sludge removal means. The partition set includes at least two partitions. One partition is used as deflector and has through orifice. Another partition is perforated. Liquid trap comprises at least three plate rows arranged in the body. The plates are inclined from upper plane to lower one. The plates have streamlined wedge-like cross-sections defined in direction transversal to plate lengths. The body is supported by resilient members. Fan inlet pipe is connected to the body by resilient collar. Deflector is the last partition in partition set.
EFFECT: increased efficiency and reliability of dust removal, reduced metal consumption and vibroacoustic activity of the device.
