FIELD: sorption technique; cleaning of waste industrial gases; individual and collective protection of respiratory organs.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method of production of sorbent-catalyst includes calcination of activated carbon granules preliminarily treated with ammonia solution containing copper, chromium and silver in superheated steam atmosphere at temperature of 800-850C, cooling of carbon, preparation of solution containing potassium bichromate and triethylene amine, impregnation of cooled carbon granules with this solution, aging, drying, heat treatment in air atmosphere and sieving. Impregnating solution contains additionally caustic soda and ammonium carbonate at the following concentration of components, g/dm3: caustic soda, 40-70; potassium bichromate, 60-110; ammonium carbonate, 25-50; triethylene amine, 7-14. Impregnation is performed at impregnation factor of 0.6-1.0 dm3 per kg of calcined carbon; drying is carried out at temperature of 30-85°C and heat treatment is performed at temperature of 85-105°C.
EFFECT: increased time of protective action of sorbent- catalyst by cyanogen chloride at small layers at retained high adsorption capacity by benzole.
