FIELD: oil industry; preparation of oil and water in fields; cleaning waste water from petroleum products.

SUBSTANCE: proposed plant includes separation reservoir with hydrophobic layer, device for introduction of oil-containing waste water into separation reservoir and passages for discharge of petroleum products and cleaned water. Separation reservoir is divided into communicating sections. First and second sections are communicated at level of upper boundary of hydrophobic layer and near bottom of separation reservoir. Second and third sections are communicated at level of lower boundary of hydrophobic layer. Third section is communicated with petroleum product discharge passage and with cleaned water discharge passage. Shear of drain hole of petroleum product discharge passage is located at level of upper boundary of hydrophobic layer and shear of drain hole of cleaned water discharge passage is located at level below shear of hole of petroleum product discharge passage.

EFFECT: simplified construction; enhanced reliability; improved quality of cleaning oil-containing waste water.
