FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to treatment of oil-containing waste water and can be used to extract different impurities therefrom. The apparatus has a reservoir and a nozzle extension for feeding oil-containing waste water in form of a free-flowing jet, which is placed coaxially inside a cover. The cover is in form of a cup which is placed inside a baffle which is in form of a cup with a larger diameter which is open at the top and is linked at the top to a storage container for purified water. The inside of the cover is linked to the inside of the baffle by at least three inclined channels whose receiving openings lie lower than the level of the surface of the volume of oil-containing waste water in the cover. The nozzle attachment is configured to form inclined jets, the number of which corresponds to the number of inclined channels, each directed onto the longitudinal axis of the corresponding channel. Each inclined channel is fitted with an air tube, the receiving end of which lies higher than the level of the surface of the volume of waste water in the cover, and the outlet end opens into the inside of the inclined channel.
EFFECT: using the invention increases uniformity of aerating the volume of oil-containing waste water.
