FIELD: industry of ceramic materials.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to producing mass composition for manufacturing acid-resistant materials. Method for preparing acid-resistant material involves addition of calcium-containing slime formed in manufacturing white cast iron to the known ceramic mass comprising bentonite and pyrophyllite in the following ratio of components, wt.-%: bentonite, 20-40; pyrophyllite, 55-65; calcium-containing slime formed in manufacturing white cast iron, 5-15. Invention provides preparing acid-resistant materials by using wastes showing high mechanical strength and thermal stability. Using industry wastes for preparing acid-resistant materials promotes to their utilization, safety of environment and expanding the raw base in manufacturing for building ceramic acid-resistant materials. Invention provides enhancing mechanical strength and thermal stability of ceramic mass.
EFFECT: improved and valuable technical properties of ceramic mass.
