FIELD: organic chemistry, chemical technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for synthesis of perfluorinated olefins, in particular, to synthesis of hexafluoro-1,3-diene. Method is carried out by the dehalogenation reaction of 1,2,3,4-tetrachlorohexafluorobutane with zinc. The dehalogenation reaction is carried out in water in the presence of copper salts and mineral acids. Invention provides a simple and fireproof method for synthesis of hexafluoro-1,3-diene.
EFFECT: improved method of synthesis.
