FIELD: petroleum processing and petrochemistry.
SUBSTANCE: synthetic mixture of hydrocarbons, at least partially paraffins, containing alcohol fraction is subjected to separation into low- and high-boiling fractions. The former is hydrogenised under conditions excluding any significant change in average molecular weight of the fraction. At least part of hydrogenised fraction is combined with high-boiling fraction and resulting hydrocarbon mixture is subjected to catalytic hydrocracking, wherein paraffin portion is significantly converted into middle distillate.
EFFECT: enabled production of distillates with high low-temperature characteristics.
