FIELD: petroleum processing and petrochemical industry.
SUBSTANCE: paraffin feedstock is fractioned to produce intermediate fraction having starting boiling point from 120 to 200°C and dry point from 300 to 410°C. light fraction boiling below intermediate fraction and heavy fraction boiling higher than intermediate fraction. At least part of intermediate fraction is subjected to hydrofining and then passed through hydrocracking/hydroisomerization catalyst, wherein conversion of hydrocarbons boiling at or higher than 370°C into products boiling below 370°C exceeds 80 wt %. At least part of hydrocracked/hydroisomerized fraction is then distilled.
EFFECT: improved quality and yield of desired products.
