SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes memory, unit for controlling operation modes of memory, pickups of data measuring system, units for detecting gas generation intensity of CO and CO2; unit for determining time period of blasting; second and third switches; second and third comparators and respective second and third threshold units, double-coincidence unit. Apparatus is also provided with unit for determining rate of oxygen supply into slag, adder, unit for quality control of oxygen in slag, unit for analysis of control modes.

EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of automatic control of steel melting in converter.
