FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines.
SUBSTANCE: proposed engine contains rectangular housing in walls of which axle is installed with disk hinge mounted on hub to which opposed cylinders are attached. Rods with channels and valve holes are attached to pistons. Rods are secured in engine housing, and cylinders are provided with bottoms. Eye is attached to each cylinder on which connecting rod is hinge-mounted. Other end of connecting rod is hinge-mounted on crankpin of crankshaft. Opposite crankpin of crankshaft is hinge connected with other connecting rod opposed cylinder. Rotary swinging motion of cylinders relative to fixed pistons is converted into rotation of crankshaft.
EFFECT: improved efficiency of engine in operation.
