FIELD: determination of elasticity and shear modulus values of beryllium bronze.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of passing cross ultrasound waves through part; determining speed of passing such waves through part and calculating normal elasticity modulus and shear modulus corresponding to different deformation degrees and different heat treatment modes according to next formulae: E = 0.1086 x Vτ -132 (G Pa); G = 0.044 x Vτ - 57.8 (G Pa).
EFFECT: possibility for determining elasticity modulus and shear modulus with use of given formulae only with one experimental parameter without measuring density of part and complex calculations.
