FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: method includes heating components made of beryllium bronze on steel trays in an electric furnace with open heaters to 300-320°C, holding at said temperature for 2 hours and cooling in an aqueous salt solution which is a mixture of 3-7% aqueous sodium chloride solution and 0.5-1% aqueous hydrochloric acid solution, taken in ratio of 1:1, wherein the aqueous salt solution is magnetically pretreated by passing at a rate of 8-10 l/min through a series of alternating concave- and convex-shaped permanent magnets which form a magnetic field with strength of 950-1000 Oe.
EFFECT: invention enables to avoid the procedure of etching components used to remove carbon oxide films resulting from heat treatment from the surface of said components, improves the quality of galvanic treatment of components before coating with silver, and lowers the cost of heat treatment of bronze by using furnaces with open heaters.
