FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to procedure for increase of strength properties of rolled metal in form of sheets, strip and foil of thickness to 0.5 mm out of beryllium bronze of grades BrBNT1.7, BrBNT1.9, BrB2 and BrB2.5. The procedure for processing beryllium bronze consists in impact ultra-sonic treatment and in successive dispersion hardening of quenched bronze. Impact ultra-sonic treatment is performed at frequency of 22 kHz± 10 %, load on a contacting tool 15 kgf and rate of treatment 0.005 m/s.
EFFECT: raised strength properties, reduced dispersion of strength and local part strengthening relative to bronze out of regular rolled metal with successive dispersion hardening under similar mode.
