FIELD: medicine, clinical surgery, otorhinolaryngology.
SUBSTANCE: the present innovation deals with surgical treatment of chronic secondary sensoneural impaired hearing of II-IV degree. On exfoliating a meatotympanic fragment and removing an osseous overhang of posterior-superior wall of auditory canal it is necessary to apply incomplete cochleostoma till the appearance of perilympha in it. The meatotympanic fragment should be applied to its site back that provides the increase in tympanic area. A tragus cartilage should be applied onto mastoid process along posterior periphery of auditory canal by, thus, lengthening the auditory canal that enables to enhance the resonance. The innovation enables to mobilize physiological mechanisms of sound conducting to sensor endings of an auditory nerve due to enhancing the resonance of auditory canal, hydraulic effect and accelerating perilympholiquor exchange to normalize the composition of perilympha. The application of the present innovation provides the patients to follow the speech of other people in its distortion-free state.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of therapy.
