FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: tympanotomy is performed. All parts of the tympanum are inspected. The degree of mobility of the sound-conducting system in the middle ear is estimated. Spoons or scabers are used to remove the canopy above the cochlea window prior to full visualization of its entire surface. Autocartillage is taken from the auricle. The autocartillage is used to make an autoprosthesis with a size of 5.50-5.70 mm with a cutout at the distal end, into which a transverse beam made of autocartillage is inserted. The prosthesis is placed proximally in the cochlea window niche on the secondary membrane, with the distal end under the eardrum. The meatotympanal flap fits into place. The operation ends with latex rubber slit laying in place and a loose tamponade of the ear canal with cotton balls soaked in antibiotic.
EFFECT: improved auditory function by creating additional ways of sound energy delivery to the inner ear structures through the secondary membrane and tympanal ladder in addition to the existing natural path through auditory ossicles.
