FIELD: processes for electrochemical treatment of water used, for example for controlling acidic-basic, oxidation-reduction properties of technological aqueous solutions in agricultural production, for example for pre-sowing treatment of seeds and for medical purposes in domestic conditions.

SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes housing of dielectric material divided by means of diaphragm by chambers for placing anode and cathode. Cathode is made of round cross section rods of alloy steel mutually connected through electric current conductor and arranged along perimeter of chamber formed of perforated carcass. Semi-permeable cylindrical shell of micro-porous plastics is secured to inner wall of carcass. Arranged in chamber anode is provided with rod electrodes of alloy steel mutually connected through common electric current conductor.

EFFECT: high quality of anolite and catholite prepared of tap water, lowered energy consumption for providing predetermined potential of initial liquid activation.
