FIELD: valving.
SUBSTANCE: valve seal comprises rigid member that is provided with inner conical sealing surface and can move along the axle and mating flexible edge made of the thick-walled short cylindrical shell made of elastomer and secured to the branch pipe. The cone angle of the inner conical sealing surface of the rigid member is dependent on the friction angle of the elastomer and sizes of the flexible edge.
EFFECT: enhanced reliability and prolonged service life.
