SUBSTANCE: for transferring diode-triode attachment/optical transmitter information, communication system includes transmitter 74 for transferring diode-triode attachment/optical transmitter information in diode-triode attachment/optical transmitter channel and channel gate 699 for controlling gating of diode-triode attachment/optical transmitter channel on basis of whether appropriate preamble is detected in data block received by receiver 106. Such a data block is the first data block in a series of data blocks, constituting a data packet. Channel gate 699 prevents transfer of diode-triode attachment/optical transmitter channel, when receiver 106 is unable to receiver appropriate preamble in data block.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of communications channel.
