FIELD: continuous casting process with further rolling, plant for continuous casting shaped sections at light reduction.
SUBSTANCE: plant includes mold for continuous casting of blank and station for light reduction under mold in the form of roller holders arranged at both sides of blank one opposite to other while rollers hold by holders are use for transporting or deforming blank. Inside guide in solidification zone there are several supporting-deforming flattening rollers arranged one after another for light reduction. In separate zones said flattening rollers are inclined relative to preliminarily shaped convexities of bridge and(or) of outer faces of flanges. Invention allows produce shaped section in light- reduction zone. Such sections are subjected to flattening along convexities of flanges and bridge in such a way that to make outer faces of flanges and faces of bridge, mainly planar ones. It prevents occurring of segregation and porosity in flanges and bridge.
EFFECT: improved quality of shaped sections.
