FIELD: oil deposit development and operation, particularly to determine oil producing well output.
SUBSTANCE: method involves determining formation productivity factor with the use of indicator diagram. The diagram is plotted on the base of produced fluid output. If water content in well product is more than 20% indicator diagram depicting water output and indicating diagram displaying oil output are used. Formation-well-pump system operating mode is changed by variable-frequency electric drive to increase or decrease well pressure drawdown. Liquid and oil outputs, as well as pattern of above output changes are determined. Operating mode, which provides stable formation-well-pump system operation with respect to oil output is assumed as the effective operating mode.
EFFECT: increased oil recovery along with reduced costs per product unit.
