FIELD: oil and gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the oil industry and can be used in the operation of oil wells in heterogeneous reservoirs. Method includes stopping the well, lowering deep flow meters and pressure gauges into the well, and taking pressure recovery curves. According to the invention, when conducting a research, a bunch of two manometers, synchronized in time and spaced 10 m from each other, are lowered by 10–50 meters above the upper perforation interval at the well stop, as well as the flowmeter, the well pump are put into operation, fluid is taken from the well until the level of the pump suspension drops within 1–2 hours, the pump is stopped and these pressure gauges record pressure recovery curves with the accuracy of at least 100 Pa and the flow rate of the liquid using the flow meter within 10–15 hours, after which the water cut B at various values of the pressure obtained is calculated by the formula in %:

where Pbottom – readings of pressure of the lower manometer, atm., Ptop – pressure readings of the upper gauge, atm., ρw – density of formation water, g/cm3, ρo – density of reservoir oil, g/cm3, comparing the data on the level of the fluid in the well, the flow rate of the fluid and the obtained calculated values of the water cut assigned to each time interval, the flow rate of oil qo is calculated according to the formula in t/day:

where qf – the flow rate of the fluid, measured by the deep flowmeter, t/day, the data obtained build a graph of the dependence of the flow rate of oil from the liquid level in the well and determine the range of values of the dynamic level with the highest values of oil flow rate, in accordance with the obtained optimal values of the dynamic fluid level in the well, which allow to reach the maximum oil flow rate, the operation mode of the sucker rod deep well pump is selected.

EFFECT: increase in the rate of oil recovery from the reservoir is ensured.
