FIELD: microwave radio engineering; ultrahigh-frequency radar systems using single transceiving antenna.
SUBSTANCE: proposed phase-type stripline circulator has two bridge units and nonreciprocal phase shifter disposed in-between. Stripline bridge units are made in the form of ether 3-dB directional coupler with quarter-wavelength coupled strip or 3-dB loop-type directional coupler, or T-joint. Nonreciprocal phase shifter is built around slow-wave stripline structure. All functional devices incorporated in phase-type stripline circulator can be also made in microstrip design alternate.
EFFECT: simplified design, reduced size and mass, facilitated manufacture.
