FIELD: designing radio buoys launched from subsurface carriers.
SUBSTANCE: radio buoy has case accommodating antenna with radiator in inflatable shell, connector for portable serviceability check equipment, programming device incorporated in equipment unit whose input is connected to current supply and to outputs of protective device, and its outputs are connected to gas-filling system igniter, antenna radiator, pyrotechnic shell unsealing device, and to sinking valve; antenna-radiator assembly is disposed within flexible rubberized shell that has toroidal base and is closed in packed condition with sealed safety cap thrown away as shell is filled up and secured to case by means of three uniformly distributed shear studs provided with drilling whose center coincides with mating line between outer surface of radio buoy case drilling and inner mating surface of valve. In addition, radio buoy case has streamline contour and is free from protruding parts. Current supply is provided with water-activated battery. Proposed buoy is characterized in easy exit from outlet apparatus, its antenna is protected against flooding.
EFFECT: enhanced stability in heavy sea, enlarged service life of buoy.
