FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fishery and structural elements for fishing nets, namely to a radiobeacon. Radiobeacon for fishing nets includes a cylindrical housing accommodating: printed-circuit board, on which there is a device for transmitting a radio signal, a GPS-module and a control microcontroller; charger for power supply charge with power on/off device. On the radiobeacon there is a sleep mode, in which the radio signal transmission device and the GPS module are disconnected from the power supply, and the control microcontroller switches to the low current consumption mode. Printed-circuit board additionally contains an accelerometer for transmitting data from the radiobeacon to the base station. Housing is made of material providing sealing at great depths for a long time. Power on/off device has no control means on the outer part of the body.
EFFECT: longer service life of the radiobeacon and range of detection of its location at given radio channel power are achieved.
