FIELD: marine emergency information devices.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to marine emergency information devices, namely to pop-up emergency information radio beacons, and can be used on underwater facilities of the Navy. A pop-up emergency information radio beacon with an inflatable spherical spiral antenna of the decameter range includes: a radio beacon body, batteries, a radio transmitter, a matching device, an antenna, a fastening cable with a radio frequency cable and a gas hose for gas supply fixed to it, and a gas injection system; moreover, the radio beacon antenna is made of glass cloth in the form of a spherical four-way helical antenna with a diameter of 1.85 m with a resonant frequency of 6 MHz and a working band of at least 2% of the resonant frequency. The antenna of the pop-up emergency information beacon has stable field characteristics due to the raising of the antenna above the sea surface to a height of 10 m.
EFFECT: ensuring the stability of the field characteristics of the antenna of the pop-up emergency information radio beacon by eliminating the flooding of the antenna base with sea water and the influence of the disturbed sea surface on the antenna position.
