FIELD: electrical engineering; electrical machines and electric drives.
SUBSTANCE: proposed low-speed induction motor has stator carrying multiphase winding and short-circuited rotor. Phase leads are disposed between circular magnetic circuits coupled with stacks of axial magnetic circuits. Tooth number z of circular magnetic circuits equals number of magnetic-field pole pairs. Circular magnetic circuits of one motor phase are shifted through angle π and those of different phases, through angle 2π. Stacks of axial magnetic circuits are disposed within rotor magnetic circuit space. External conical surfaces of stator circular magnetic circuits are coupled with side conical surfaces of cylindrical magnetic circuits. Circular windings of each phase of proposed motor are sectionalized.
EFFECT: enhanced number of magnetic-field pole pairs, reduced rotor speed.
