FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electrical engineering, in particular to low-speed asynchronous motors powered by an electronically controlled trapezoidal current source. Low-speed asynchronous motor powered from an electronically controlled trapezoidal current source comprises a stator with a two-phase multi-pole winding, each pole of which is concentrated on one tooth division with the same induction in the gap of each pole tooth and is located on the inner side of the stator in a periodic sequence, the north pole of the first phase – the north pole of the second phase – the south pole of the first phase – the south pole of the second phase (…-N1-N2-S1-S2), two electronically controlled current sources. Output of the first current source is connected to the output of the winding of the first phase, and the other one, respectively, to the output of the second phase. Electronic unit with two outputs generates periodic signals for setting the current of phases of a trapezoidal shape with a positive trapezium in the first and negative in the second half-periods shifted in time by a quarter of the period.
EFFECT: increase of efficiency.
