FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: transformer contains polyphase primary and secondary windings and laminated magnet core consisting of inner and outer magnet cores. The inner magnet core is made of round stamped sheets of electrical steel with the same slots open at external side, but with two different diameters - large and small diameters. During assembly of large and small sheets of the magnet core into a stack they are alternated in axial direction. Outer magnet core is made of circular sheets consisting of two and more parts of two sizes with identical outside diameter and different inner diameter. Inner diameter of one circle is equal to outer diameter of a big sheet in the inner magnet core. Inner diameter of the second circle is equal to outer diameter of a small sheet in the inner magnet core. During assembly into the stack circular sheets with different inner diameter of the outer magnet core as well as sheets of the inner magnet core are alternated and can be interfaced with sheets the inner magnet core of respective size. Sides of coil turns in primary and secondary windings pass in one of the slots and in the central opening of inner magnet core covering its circular part.

EFFECT: increased efficiency factor due to reduction of electric losses in the windings.
