FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method involves conducting catgut thread through long axis of the wound with exit on the opposite side. Then, a thread is conducted 4 cm aside in perpendicular to the first one through organ parenchyma. A thread is conducted in the like manner to the opposite side 3 cm far from the last thread exit more close to the first pierce place. A thread is once more conducted 3 cm far in parallel to the last thread through the organ parenchyma returning to the initial pierce place. The ends are tied in knot.
EFFECT: reliable hemostasis; prevented bile leakage and cutting-through liver and spleen parenchyma; reduced risk of traumatic complications.
