SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, more specifically to a haemostatic agent applied in surgery for hemostasis in liver injuries and resections, representing a porous elastic collagen material with included antibacterial substances (boric acid and furacilin), reinforced by a chromic catgut mesh.
EFFECT: invention allows reliable hemo- and cholestasis by compression-biological effect on a wound in liver injuries and resections, reduced operation time, lower risk of development of postoperative complications, and wound healing stimulation.
