FIELD: rolled stock production, mainly conveyers for transporting coils from hot rolled strip coilers in hot rolling shops to sheet fining sections and to cold rolling shops.
SUBSTANCE: conveyer includes lengthwise beams mounted in frame sections secured to foundation; stationary backup rollers mounted on bearing assemblies in lengthwise beams; conveyer chains supported by means of backup rollers. Fixed axles are mounted between backup rollers; end journals of said axles with flat faces are mounted in rectangular crosswise slits of lengthwise beams. Rollers supporting links of conveyer chains are mounted on said fixed axles in bearing assemblies.
EFFECT: lowered quantity of rejected strips or low quality sheets after transporting coils in conveyer, enhanced efficiency of rolling shop, improved operational reliability of conveyer.
