FIELD: rolled stock production, mainly in thick-sheet and continuous wide-strip hot rolling mills for making slabs from car supplying them out of stock and transferring slabs on charging roller table near heating furnaces by means of ejector arranged near table. SUBSTANCE: lifting table includes rectangular platform of channel-like cross section with cross rigidity ribs, traverse beams for placing slabs, platforms secured to upper flange, two guiding columns for vertically moving column, mechanism for lifting and descending platform. Platform has apertures on edge portions. Apertures with open end are formed by vertical lengthwise and crosswise walls embraced by brackets at side of open ends. Inside apertures there are cover strips engaging with reciprocal cover strips secured to guiding columns. Mechanism for lifting and descending platform is in the form of two hydraulic cylinders mounted under platform symmetrically relative to its crosswise axis in cross bars whose trunnions are mounted in bearing assemblies on frame secured to foundation. Axes of trunnions are parallel to lengthwise axis of platform. Rods of hydraulic cylinders are provided with changeable heads having convex outer spherical surface joined with concave spherical surface of seats secured to lower flange of platform. Each cross bar has two lateral openings whose axes are normal relative to axes of trunnions. Centering tie rods are vertically mounted in said openings. Portions of centering tie rods arranged over cross bars have diameter more than that of lateral openings and lower portions of tie rods and they passes through openings in lower flange of platform. Compensation torsion shaft is mounted in bearing assemblies secured to lugs of crosswise rigidity ribs at lateral side of platform. Ends of said shaft are joined by means of couplings with pinion-stems mounted in bearings outside lengthwise walls of platform apertures at side opposite relative to side of charging slab on table. Pinion-stems of torsion shaft are engaged with vertically arranged toothed racks secured to stationary struts. Stop rollers engaging with vertical cover strips of supporting frames mounted in wall of recess of foundation of lifting table are mounted on crosswise rigidity ribs and lengthwise walls of platform apertures at side of charging slab on table. EFFECT: enhanced quality of rolled sheets, increased efficiency of rolling mills and reliability of lifting tables. 6 dwg
