FIELD: elastomeric and multicomponent material treatment, particularly for worn out tire recycling.

SUBSTANCE: method involves processing material with rotary processing tool having rotary speed and number of working members selected to provide high-frequency acoustic or ultrasonic oscillations in material treatment zone, wherein the material to be treated is previously prepared to increase material rigidity and to change characteristic oscillation frequency of the material. The processing tool applies shock-wave action in unit time due to change speed of tool rotation to provide correspondence of processing tool impact frequency to characteristic oscillation frequency of the material to be treated. Device comprises processing tool including a number of working members and connected to drive. The device is also provided with previous material preparation system made as jet installed on fixed support. Device has forced material supply system, which includes rotary rollers to supply material to be treated into the jet having outlet orifice spaced minimal distance from processing tool, which applies high-frequency shock-wave action to material to be treated. Fixed support is made as table having shape and profile selected to provide accumulated saw-like unloading waves by table sides. Device also has regulator to control speed of processing tool rotation.

EFFECT: increased efficiency of material treatment.
