SUBSTANCE: mechanical destruction of connective tissues connecting elementary fibers is carried out by cyclic deformation of bast fibers by multiple local effects on the fiber by combined alternating loads in succession to each local area of the complex fiber while simultaneously sparing non-destructive drawing of the fiber along the entire length. Method is implemented by a device that contains a supply and discharge means and a unit for destroying connective tissues, which is a support pad, an ultrasonic drive and an ultrasonic working tool.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at increasing the yield of elementary bast fiber with improved quality.
