FIELD: table ware.

SUBSTANCE: electric tea pot 1 for water heating has reservoir 2 for water and heating panel defining base 3 of reservoir 2. Electric heating member 4 fixed on lower side of heating panel is controlled by means of thermostatic switch 7. Said switch is adapted for connection to power source upon actuation thereof by means of switching key 14. Plastic handle 9 and cover 15 for covering of reservoir 2 are attached to tea pot 1. Reservoir 2 is manufactured from metal, preferably stainless steel. On side surface 12 of reservoir 2 there is fastening device onto which supporting panel 10 secured. Cover 15 according to first embodiment is located on supporting panel 10. Thanks to supporting panel 10, individual control members 16, 14 and other functional transmission members may be assembled and secured in simplified manner, with following positioning of said members in conjunction with supporting panel 10 on metal reservoir 2. Such construction substantially simplifies process for manufacturing of tea pot from steel. According to second version, handle is fixed regardless of control members 16, 14 to supporting shield. On depressing of handle, hooks provided on handle on metal planks are elastically transferred to zone behind edge of supporting shield for gripping it.

EFFECT: simplified assembling and dismantling of tea pot members and increased efficiency.
