RING-TYPE MAGNETOSTRICTIVE TRANSDUCER Russian patent published in 2006 - IPC B01F11/02 B01B1/08

Abstract RU 2284215 C1

FIELD: devices for treatment of suspensions in the powerful acoustic fields.

SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the devices for treatment of suspensions in the powerful acoustic fields, in particular, for leaching, emulsification, and also to the devices for production and transmission of the mechanical oscillations with utilization of magnetostrictive effect. The transducer contains the first and the second ring-type magnetostrictive transmitters. The magnetic conductor of the first transmitter is acoustically rigidly pressed on the first cylindrical pipe. The second cylindrical pipe is concentrically and with a clearance is rigidly fixed inside the first cylindrical pipe. The magnetic conductor of the second transmitter is pressed into the internal cavity of the second pipe. The pipes are made out of the sound-transparent material. One magnetic conductor is made out of the material with the negative striction, and another is made out of the material with the positive striction. The transducer forms the double-frequency acoustic field in the treated liquid medium. The achieved technical result of the invention is the increased intensification of the production process without loss of quality of the liquid medium treatment.

EFFECT: the invention ensures the increased intensification of the production process without loss of quality of treatment of the liquid medium.
