FIELD: wood-processing industry.
SUBSTANCE: press has pressure beams arranged in upper part and extending along housing, each of said beams being fixed to immovable plate attached to upper traverses of housing frames. Movable pressure beams are arranged in lower part and fixed to movable plates which are positioned for displacement in vertical plane by means of hydraulic pressure cylinders connected to support attached to lower traverses of housing frames. Pressure beams are made in the form of corners whose strips are extending perpendicular to one another, with apexes of beam corners being arranged in single vertical plane. Also, strips of corners of pressure beams are equipped with longitudinal slots defining ridge-shaped profile of corner strips. Ridges of each strip of one of said beams are arranged opposite slots of other of said beams. Lower pressure beams are made in the form of individual sections, each being attached to individual movable plate which, in its turn, is attached to individual hydraulic pressure cylinder.
EFFECT: provision for optimal mutual arrangement and combination of sizes of main working units and power members and, correspondingly, reduced metal usage and consumption of power, increased precision and reliable operation, decreased labor intensity for adjustment and maintenance of press, increased efficiency and safe operation.
