FIELD: petroleum processing, petroleum chemistry, automobile industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a multifunctional additive designated for using as a component of automobile gasoline. The multifunctional additive for automobile gasoline comprises 40-60% of products formed after interaction of alkanolamines or alkylalkanolamines of the general formula: R1 mN(R2OH)n wherein R1 means hydrogen atom (H), (C1-C3)-alkyl; R2 means (C2-C3)-alkyl; m = 1, 1; n = 3-m with technical alkylsalicylic acids and organic solvent, up to 100%. Additive improves washing, antioxidant, anti-corrosive and other properties of automobile gasoline and decreases the content of toxic substances in exhausted car gases. Additive is added to automobile gasoline in the amount 0.01-0.15 wt.-%.
