FIELD: space engineering; testing facilities.
SUBSTANCE: according to proposed method, spacecraft is loaded by pyrotechnical devices which operate to provide shock spectra in places of mounting of equipment. Before carrying out tests, shock spectrum of accelerations of standard pyrotechnical devices is found and then spacecraft engineering mockup is loaded by device-analog of standard pyrotechnical device in mass, overall dimensions and method and place of fastening close to standard pyrotechnical device, and shock spectrum of accelerations is formed which overlaps shock spectrum of accelerations of standard pyrotechnical device. Shock spectrum of accelerations caused by operation of analog in check points of engineering mockup of obtained. Ratio of shock spectrum of accelerations in point of operation of analog to shock spectrum of accelerations of standard pyrotechnical device is determined, and taking into account received ratios, load level in check points on spacecraft is calculated by formula.
EFFECT: increased accuracy of results of testing.
