FIELD: impact testing.
SUBSTANCE: used primarily when testing high-intensity impacts of various spatial complex structures, as well as devices, instruments and equipment. To create impacts in spatial systems, the position of the pyrotechnic device in space is adjusted in height and angle of rotation by a cable system connected to the pyrotechnic device. Moreover, the speed of impact of the striker with the test object is ensured by selecting gas generators of various powers and installing additional weights on the pyrotechnic device, and the mass of additional weights is determined by specifying the movement of the striker and the flange of the cup, and the tests themselves are carried out in several stages. In this case, at the first stage, a gas generator of minimum power is installed in the pyrotechnic device, impact load of the test object is carried out, the shock spectrum of accelerations is obtained at the control point, and compared with the required shock spectrum of accelerations. If necessary, the loading procedure is adjusted at the following stages: the mass of additional weights, the mass and material of the striker, the charge of the gas generator, the distance from the striker of the pyrotechnic device to the test object are changed, the movement of the flange of the pyrotechnic device is changed, then impact loading of the test object is performed. The adjustment of the loading procedure is completed when the resulting shock acceleration spectrum coincides with the required shock acceleration spectrum within the permissible error, and then the impact load is repeated the required number of times.
EFFECT: ability to create impacts at various points of complex, including spatial structures.
