SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine and can be used in surgery. Perform in the sub-chin area a zigzag line at zigzag angles of 40–45 degrees and a step of 1.0–1.5 cm to the level of the thyroid cartilage and in the continuation – to the posterior edge of the sternocleidomastoid muscle.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to provide sufficient access to the structures of the nasal, mouth-, laryngopharynx and skull base, carry out a radical removal of the tumor, create conditions for the reconstruction and replacement of bulk tissue defects, not to violate the integrity of the soft palate, avoid a linear incision in the sub-chin, and, as a result, to achieve a better aesthetic effect, exclusion in the postoperative period of cicatricial contracture on the skin of this area, accelerate the rehabilitation of patients by implementing a zigzag incision in the sub-chin, and mobilizing a complex musculoskeletal bone composite flap.
