FIELD: dust catcher manufacture processes which may be used in chemical, textile, food-processing, light and other branches of industry, in particular, dust laden gas cleaning units.
SUBSTANCE: method involves making housing including cylindrical and conical parts, parts for peripheral introduction of gas flow, discharge branch pipe for purified gas, helical surface of cover from metal; connecting mentioned parts of dust catchers with one another by welding or riveting processes or by means of fastening articles; applying layer of soft vibration damping material such as paste onto surfaces of cyclone parts, with thickness ratio of metal layer to vibration damping layer making 1/(2.5-4).
EFFECT: increased efficiency and reduced vibration acoustic activity.
