FIELD: chemical industry; textile industry; food industry; light industry and other industries; dust-catching equipment.
SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the field of dust-catching equipment and may be used in chemical, textile, food industry, light and other industries for purification of dusty gases. The cyclone separator contains a body consisting of a cylindrical and a conical parts and a located in its upper part peripheral inlet of a gas stream and an outlet branch-pipe of a purified gas. The peripheral inlet of the gas stream is made in the form of an inlet branch-pipe, the axis of which is directed at an angle to the axis of the body and tangentially to the surface of the outlet branch-pipe. On the top of the cylindrical body there is a screw-type cover and on one of the ends of the outlet branch-pipe of the purified gas there is a fixed filter cartridge. The technical result is an increased efficiency and reliability of the dust catching process and also decreased metal consumption and vibroacoustic activity of the cyclone separator as a whole.
EFFECT: the invention ensures increased efficiency and reliability of the dust catching process and also decreased metal consumption and vibroacoustic activity of the cyclone separator as a whole.
