FIELD: equipment used during working of article on machines, in particular, for performing of drilling, cutting, dressing and electro-erosion machining operations.
SUBSTANCE: clamping apparatus for tool or article has tool support or article support made in the form of detachable clamping member and immovable clamping member. Support has slots adapted for cooperation with centering pivots located on immovable clamping member during precise centering and determining position in X and/or Y directions. Clamping bolt is also fixed on immovable clamping member for mutual fixing of both members. Support is provided with supporting device which protrudes relative to parts essential for precise centering to thereby protect said parts in blocked position of claming members.
EFFECT: provision for attachment and precise centering of large-sized and heavy tools or articles.
