FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: clamping device comprises gripping socket and detachable billet holder to be locked thereon and incorporating no pin. Gripping socket incorporates clamping mechanism to lock billet holder that has several clamping elements representing sliding elements furnished with front part with pressure surface formed to be pressed against billet holder clamping surface running along billet holder side surface. Centering slots are made on flat bottom surface of the holder to accommodate centering cams on gripping socket in locking holder on gripping socket. Note here that there is through hole to receive billet or tool.
EFFECT: possibility to take up great pull-out forces.
