FIELD: mechanical working processes and equipment, namely instruments for machine tools.

SUBSTANCE: attachment includes base fixed in desired place in machine tool, blank holder mounted in said base, basing members provided on base and on blank holder. Said basing members are mutually engaged for orienting blank holder on base along three mutually normal coordinate axes and accurately by angle. Attachment also includes clamping unit whose clamping effort holds blank holder on base in position set by basing members. In order to provide desired accuracy at any loads attachment satisfies at least three demands. 1) Base and blank holder are provided (as pairs of basing members for setting position along one coordinate axis Z parallel to direction of clamping effort) with mutually opposite thrust surfaces and for setting positions along two other coordinate axes X,Y they are provided separately for each axis with two pairs of linear basing members, each having one wedge-shaped centering guide and one reciprocal member to which centering slit is approached. 2) Clamping unit includes several clamping organs, each having one clamp mounted on blank holder and clamping chuck arranged on base. 3) Blank holder in fastened state has on side turned to base solid flat surface on which in separate zones thrust surfaces laid at said side are formed and on which linear basing members are fastened for setting position of coordinate axes and also clamps of clamping organs are mounted.

EFFECT: improved design of attachment providing desired accuracy degree for working blanks at any loads.
