METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR MANUFACTURE OF ARCHITECTURAL AND CONSTRUCTIONAL PRODUCTS AND SMALL ARCHITECTURAL FORMS Russian patent published in 2006 - IPC B28B1/02 

FIELD: working of stones, in particular, methods and equipment for manufacture of architectural and constructional articles from hardening materials such as concretes.

SUBSTANCE: method involves molding products from hardening materials such as concretes reinforced with metal carcass; orienting metal carcass in vertical axis of product and filling with basic concrete mixture, followed by holding said mixture for 2-6 hours; applying covering concrete mixture onto resultant basic concrete layer, said covering concrete mixture consisting of small-grained concrete of at least M500 grade; subjecting surface of newly molded concrete blank to processing by means of template, having edge configured in conformance with shape of product, by rotating said template at velocity of 3-30 rev/min around vertical axis of carcass until product acquires demanded ornamental appearance. Apparatus has frame with upper and lower beams, template and supports for attachment thereof. Apparatus is further equipped with carrier made in the form of U-shaped frame resting upon upper and lower bearing units immovably secured in vertical plane on frame, and supporting platform provided on lower bearing unit for product to be manufactured. Bearing units are axially aligned with vertical axis of product and carrier is extending in parallel with said axis. Template is made detachable and is located on vertical column of carrier. Upper beam of frame is made movable in order to provide attachment at different levels.

EFFECT: wider range of ornamental constructional products and increased efficiency of method and apparatus used for manufacture of said products.
