FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: proposed device comprises rescue elevators representing floating carcass-type multi-floor structure with one or two floor-high platforms furnished with light guards at platform upper part and pontoon-type at platform bottom party. Floating elevators are arranged in initial (stand-by) position on water column surface in upper sections of evacuation shafts, which feature, in compliance with floating elevators, square, round or oval horizontal cross section. Said evacuation shafts are made from metal and/or high-strength watertight concrete with lined inner surface and are divided into sections with height equal to 5 to 15 high block floors by shut-off diaphragms that do not obstruct floating elevator travel in open state. Note here that gap between evacuation shaft inner walls and pontoon walls varies from 150 to 300 mm.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of rescue operations.
