FIELD: transport engineering; wheels.
SUBSTANCE: proposed wheel contains disk part and rim articulated with disk part in form of solid of revolution limited from outer side by support flats for tire with front and rear flanges, respectively, with from one side and with humps from other side. Cavity for mounting of tire is made in part of rim between humps adjoining the humps with sections in form of outer surfaces of casings mating in zone of minimum diametric sizes. Said casings point to different sides relative to said zone by larger diametric sizes. One casing of pair is made of thick ness constant along wheel axle, and the other is of variable thickness. Rim is joined with disk part in place where thickness of last of said casings is maximum. Variable-thickness casing is made in form of two members mating by end faces of larger thickness with straight-line in meriodional plane outer and inner generatrices. Constant-thickness casing is made conical with cone angle of its outer surface being α=(25°÷80°).
EFFECT: reduced to minimum mass of wheel.
