FIELD: organic chemistry, chemical technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for synthesis of α-hydropolyfluoroalkanethiols. Method involves heating benzylpolyfluoroalkyl sulfides with 2-3-fold excess of phosphoric anhydride to temperature 150-180°C. Compounds are used as reagents in organic synthesis in synthesis of fluorine-containing sulfonyl chlorides, sulfoacids and other derivatives. Proposed method provides enhancing yield of end compounds and to simplify technology of the process.
EFFECT: improved method of synthesis.
